Ingredients
First Layer
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chopped nutmeats
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
Second Layer
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 8- to 12-ounce carton frozen whipped topping, thawed, divided
Third Layer
- 2 large packages instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
Fourth Layer
- Remaining whipped topping
- Chopped nutmeats
Steps
- First Layer: Combine flour and nutmeats. Pour over melted butter and mix well. Press into bottom of a 9-by-13-inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees 15 minutes. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
- Second Layer: Mix cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar and half of the whipped topping. Pour over first layer.
- Third Layer: Mix pudding mixes and milk, mixing until very thick. Spread on second layer.
- Fourth Layer: Spread with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with nutmeats. Refrigerate.
