- 425°F, 20 min
Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 4 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp sugar
Steps
- Prepare the crust as directed on the package. Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Mix 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
- Add apples; toss to coat well.
- Spoon into the center of the crust, spreading to within 2 inches of the edge. Bring the crust up over the apples, leaving a border of about 2 inches, pleating or folding the crust as needed.
- Brush the edge of the crust with egg white; sprinkle with 1 tsp sugar.
- Bake at 425°F, 20 min.
Notes
- The instructions are cut off right after “Bake” on the card, with the temp/time taken from the card’s Temp/Time fields at top — worth a glance at the physical card to confirm there’s no additional step.
