Filling for Cup Cakes

- 45-55 cup cakes
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp lemon flavoring or almond
- 3 Tbls flour [word before “flour” crossed out and illegible]
Steps
- Mix with electric mixer, 15 min. [duration partly illegible].
- For chocolate filling, add 1/4 cup cocoa.
- Fill cake decorator tube and place onto baked cup cakes, pressing in a small amount.
Notes
Filling for 45-55 cup cakes. Marginal note in blue ink: “gently.”
