Cook
350°F, 15-18 min

Ingredients

  • 1 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg plus 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup pecans

Steps

  1. Oven 350°F.
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon together.
  3. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter/sugar/egg mixture.
  4. Stir in the chocolate chips, oats, coconut, and pecans. Space scoops (about 1/4 cup dough) 3 inches apart.
  5. Bake 15-18 min.

Notes

  • A word right before “butter” in the ingredient list was hard to make out (possibly describing the butter, e.g. “unsalted”) — transcribed conservatively.
  • “3 cups butter” style creaming step is implied but not explicitly spelled out on the card; the method assumes butter, sugars, and eggs were creamed together first.
