An early draft of this recipe (heavily scratched out at the top of the page) called for instant coconut cream pudding, milk, and a whipped-cream/powdered-sugar/coconut-flake topping — largely illegible due to crossing-out. The recipe below is the clean, final version the author numbered “1)”.
Ingredients
- 1 box white cake mix
- Water, vegetable oil & eggs, as directed on box
- 3 tsp. coconut extract
- 1/2 cup sweetened coconut flakes
Steps
- Prepare cake mix as directed on box, adding coconut extract and coconut flakes.
- Bake in a 9x13 pan as directed.
